Falcondale House Interior
Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol
1930s Family Semi-Detached Home, Falcondale Rd
This interior project reorganises the ground-floor layout of a distinguished 1930s family home to create open, flowing spaces while maintaining clear functional definition. Zones are articulated through material, texture, and bespoke furnishings rather than partitions, allowing the interior to feel expansive yet intimate.
A natural, muted colour palette with subtle accents enhances the home’s sense of light and spaciousness, complementing its original 1930s character while introducing a contemporary, luxurious feel. The entrance zone is carefully defined to guide movement, offering alternative flows toward the living areas, kitchen, and utility spaces.
Every internal decision — from colour and materiality to furniture layout — is calibrated to reinforce the spaciousness, comfort, and refinement of the home, creating an interior that is modern, elegant, and attentive to the qualities of its original architecture.
