Kanaan Tin Design
Saida, Lebanon
The tin design is inspired by the patterns of traditional wooden pastry moulds, such as those used for maamoul, alongside the geometric textures found in a variety of Arabic sweets and pastries.
These references were translated into a contemporary graphic language through layered line work and repetition, creating a surface that reflects craft, tradition, and the tactile qualities of oriental confectionery.
The result is a packaging design that connects familiar pastry-making traditions with a modern visual identity, while remaining recognisable, restrained, and reusable.
